The Google Play Store has started rolling out a new update that enables people using Android devices to download and update as many as three apps at one time. This enhancement comes on the back of the previous enhancement that allowed two downloads at the same time, thus simplifying the management of apps.

To use this feature, one has to go to the Manage apps and device in the Play Store, then go to Updates available, and finally click on Update all. The Play Store then selects three apps for concurrent download and update, and marks the rest as Pending.

While Google has not made this update official, many people have reported being able to access the feature on a number of devices. This means that the backend will enable the new update without requiring users to update manually, in a process known as a server-side update.

The Play Market uses the useful feature of simultaneous download along with an enhanced function called ‘auto-open.’ This innovation will enhance Android devices by automatically launching all apps as soon as they are installed, making the user experience smoother.

Google’s recent changes on the Play Store demonstrate its ongoing efforts to improve application usage in the Android environment. By enhancing the Play Store’s features, Google has strengthened its position as a leading apps download and update service, firmly expanding its market share.
