Infinix is gearing up to launch an extensive lineup of smartphones under its Hot 50 series, featuring five distinct models: There is Hot 50, Hot 50 5G, Hot 50 Pro, Hot 50 Pro+, and Hot 50i. These devices model codes appeared on the IMEI database recently, which leaked to suggest that a release may be upcoming.

Infinix will reportedly position the Hot 50 Pro+ (X6880) at the top of the list, making it the first time the company unveils a Pro Plus model in the Hot series. Infinix will reportedly exclude 5G capabilities from the Hot 50 Pro (X6881), consistent with their approach in other series.

With the X6720, the Hot 50 5G will be packing an improved processing department, even though it will be using a Dimensity chip of a lower tier. The non-folding Infinix Hot 50 (X6882) and the Infinix Hot 50i complete the set, the latter is somewhat stripped down in features but it is quite cheaper.

This is a clear deviation from what Infinix has been doing in their line of products’ launches and there is likely to be more information coming out as the launch nears. The Hot 50 series is expected to contain models with the ultimate package as well as models that are affordable for the end user.
