Key Specifications and Features Revealed
Poco, a brand under Xiaomi, is going to introduce the Poco M7 Pro 5G and Poco C75 5G in India on December 17. As the release date gets closer, the company has shared some details about these new phones, especially about their cameras and screens. The Poco M7 Pro 5G will have a 50-megapixel main camera with a Sony sensor, and the Poco C75 5G will be special because it’s the first phone in its line to use Xiaomi’s HyperOS.
Poco India recently posted several updates on X (formerly Twitter) about their upcoming products. One of these is the Poco M7 Pro 5G, which will have a 6.67-inch full HD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and a very bright peak of 2,100 nits. The device will have a dual rear camera setup, with the main camera being a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 sensor. This sensor has optical image stabilization, multi-frame noise reduction, and a technology that combines four pixels into one for better quality. It also has in-sensor zoom and super resolution features. Other notable features of the Poco M7 Pro 5G include 300 percent louder sound, dual stereo speakers, support for Dolby Atmos, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

It will also have a Sony sensor, which is a new feature for this type of phone. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chipset, which is built on a 4nm structure, and can support up to 8GB of RAM, including an extra 4GB Turbo RAM, along with storage options that can be expanded up to 1TB.
Poco promises to provide two years of operating system updates and four years of security updates for this model. Other features include a fingerprint sensor on the side that can also recognize tap gestures, the ability to use two SIM cards, and an MIUI dialer.
